Allow swapping machine mid trail. Ie. from ergo to bike, so you can vary your workout whilst getting to the end of a trail.
Say you dont want to row till the end of the trail, you can move your ipad to the bike, eliptical etc. and carry on from there. This way you can see the whole trail, by swapping machines to get there rather than row for 30 minutes straight.
