An error occurred while saving the comment We happen to notice this picking up steam, although we made this change in functionality in response to popular feedback requesting that we don't automatically skip forward.
What do you folks think about there being a 5 second timer that counts down after the end of a tour before automatically hopping into the next tour?
Consider it a rest time if you don't want to get to your tablet/phone screen.

An error occurred while saving the comment Note that we are adding new content approximately once a month. Sometimes it takes a little longer than a month to prepare content, in which case we will release multiple tours within a week or so. We added 3 new guided tours in the last month:
Swiss Alps Hike (treadmill)
Costa Rica Ride (bike)
Northern Italy Run (medium speed)
This was shortly after 3 unguided tours in the previous month.
The best way to hear announcements of new content is by following our facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/bitgymfan. -

An error occurred while saving the comment This is already supported! Just place the device such that front-facing camera is facing you, on a table or even the floor, and you can walk in place in front of it and have the video progress. Just choose treadmill from the device selection, even if you're not actually on a treadmill (just refers to using your legs in walking/running fashion).

Great idea, we’re working on it now that we’ve added and end of workout screen with workout stats. The next step is letting you share that to social networks and other fitness tracking apps.
An error occurred while saving the comment Right now the sentence is "Journeyed through <location>, <location> and <location> on my <machine> with BitGym" and we could add statistics to the end such as "TIME: 4:31 RPM: 74 KCAL: 45. We are concerned this is more details than people would like to share though, so we would like to hear your thoughts.
An error occurred while saving the comment Judy - It really should be working now! Can you let me know which device you are using, and can you confirm you have the latest update in the store? Thanks!

An error occurred while saving the comment Please note that you can delete any videos you have already downloaded by going to your Vault Circuit, selecting a downloaded tour, and tapping "Delete" in the top right (the same place where you'd see the "Download" button for non-Vaulted tours). This will free the space back up.
A tour doesn't actually take up 2GB, it uses up about 1GB after the download is complete, similar to a VA video. However, the download process requires two steps, which temporarily requires up to 2GB to complete the download without data corruption.
We will look into ways to reduce the download size, however we prioritize the video quality.

An error occurred while saving the comment Sorry we took longer than we originally announced for the new version. A slew of new workouts, new ways to navigate through the tours, the functionality of resuming where you left off, and more are coming in the next relese. We'll be entering beta testing in a week, and will release before December, so stay warmed up :)

This is a good idea, we’re going to make a lot of changes to the experience feels more guided and less of a “content buffet” but we’re not entirely there yet. It will intertwine with the upcoming coaching features, for sure.
An error occurred while saving the comment It's coming! We have a major app rehaul we're internally calling "2.0" which will have this and many other features. It's not the very next release - that will be coaching, but it will follow it.

Hi just wanted to let you know the next iOS update will include BTLE heart rate monitor tracking for devices that support it.
An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Gabi -
1. If the Heart Rate Icon is disappearing that means the connection with the device has ceased. Is it possible it has lost good contact with your skin?
2. The increased calorie reading is a mistake on our part, I'm sorry about that. The next version will fix that, and is being submitted to apple any day now.

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi - We would like to understand your specific payment issue more. Can you contact us at support@bitgym.com and let us know how that extra 20% is manifesting itself when you pay with a credit card? Is it added on later from your bank? Our understanding is that our credit card system and paypal should charge you the exact same amount, but maybe we are missing something. Thanks!

Hi, if you contact support@bitgym.com we can help you understand the buffering issue and offer you some ideas on how to resolve it. In general if you’re seeing a lot of buffering you’ll want to use the Download feature. If you’re seeing crashes from that, that’s very strange and we’d definitely like to talk to you about it!
An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Robin - I would urge you to contact support directly so we can help you out. To answer your question quickly, on your Note 4 please try to switch out of HD into SD mode by taping the screen during a tour and looking for the "HD VIDEO" button. If it's orange, tap it to disable HD. That will help with the buffering.

The next version of the application will let you hide the hud. We’re not sure about the music controls because it takes up valuable screen space the hud will be using. Are the iOS7 “swipe up” controls not suitable for skipping songs?
An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for the suggestion Bob - you're right we need to resolve that conflict that's very annoying. What I would like to do is detect the swipe vs tap and correctly resolve the user intent. If we cannot get that working well we'll follow your suggestion.
An error occurred while saving the comment Have you tried using the iOS7 controls? We believe we won't be able to do a better job that what apple provides. Simply swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal them.

We’re going to do this for iPad, for iPhone there isn’t enough room so it will need to be displayed over the picture. However you’ll have the option to turn them off entirely.
An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for your comments, this is definitely something we will take a look at. Keep the feedback coming!

An error occurred while saving the comment Hey Mike - Good idea on iTunes. It's something we'll look into in future versions.
Youtube is something we have looked into, but there are limitations to how apple allows apps 3rd party apps to view youtube videos which kills this idea :(
We're looking at all the options we can to bring you more content, so stay tuned.

An error occurred while saving the comment Interesting - is this because you want to exercise to the panning footage and such?

The new Community Tours circuit features tours which are far more continuous than the classic tours. It’s not 100% continuous (for example if you come to a red light we’ll cross fade past that) however in general these tours are shot in a single location from a start point to an end point. The community tour circuit is still quite experimental and some content will be more contiguous than others. In particular try the Colosseum Loop which is the most contiguous of the initial tour group.
An error occurred while saving the comment The speed slider only operates on exercise speed detection--have you turned that off?

This is an excellent point, we will have the Finish banner dissipate once the scenic starts. In the meantime, you can turn off all AR augmentations on the tour by opening the HUD in any tour and deactivating the "Overlays" option. Note this will also remove the "portals" between transitions, and the "stage # cleared" banners as well. You can turn it on or off during any workout.
