BitGym or ifit?
I spin cycle 10 miles then run 2 miles on my treadmill 4 times per week at home. Been doing that pattern for around 4 years and I'm pretty fit!. I was on BitGym for 1 year then switched to ifit with my new Tour de Force Proform cycle. The bike is great but the video on ifit is poor and my enjoyment went down. Now I'm back on BitGym and it feels like the good old days with quality video you can let yourself drift off as though your there so BitGym wins hands down and no I don't work for BitGym!. One tip - if you have treadmill or bike at home- get a wall mounted fan to blow right at your face and upper body. It's cooler- more air in your lungs and the video is more lifelike!! You'll see what I mean! All the best Martin

I bought an ifit treadmill and elliptical. Ifit works well on the elliptical but I injured myself with the treadmill trying to do a tempo workout because the pace and incline the treadmill set was too advanced for my fitness. It was rated a 4 on their scale of 1-7. I tried the maps after that and they're jumpy compared to bitgym. With Bitgym you feel like you're actually running in the destination. I just wish they would add incline, & resistance cues so you can adjust your machine to the terrain. Bit Gym's picture quality is way better than ifit and the trainers aren't as annoying to run with.

Yes, BitGym is awesome with the TDF cycle, I currently shift elevation manually based on visual interpretation of the road ahead but if BitGym could take in account the elevation and calculate a slower speed per revolution that would rock without having to technically link to the bike!

I agree with you. I have an ifit Tour de France bike and the video footage is very poor. I use bitgym instead and it is fantastic. I wish it could connect to my bike so that the terrain matches the video as it does with iFit.
