It works with mirroring, but mirroring is much less smooth, and is inherently lower res. It looks, frankly, terrible compared to what it could be with native casting support. And it's a pain to use, requiring you to go deep into the Google App then switch back. Yuch.
Native Chromecast would be full res, smooth (just like chromecasting netflix) and would be a simple one click from BitGym. They are night and day.
I won't use mirroring, but I'd definitely use true Chromecasting.
Please add it!

Yep. It needs it -- for Android as well. Mirroring from phone (via Android) to Chromecast is low res and jerky. Native Chromecast support would make it perfect.

I would love to be able to use the Chromecast app to view on bigger screens rather than the tablets feature of casting screen/audio. The screen resolution is much better when using Chromecast.

Crome cast works for me....app for chromecast started then start bitgym...no issues...resolution could be better but that's a ratio then between phone and TV that I have not worked out yet

Yes, please add this feature! Much more cost effective to purchase a Chromecast for $35 than another AppleTV or expensive cable.
