Buffering very annoying it's very slow and do you have to have the phone on you while using the app? Whole point of watching what you doing is so you can put your phone down on your machine

Regarding Android, how long might it take to create a Gear VR version of Bit Gym? Total immersion in the virtual world you are running, walking. or biking through. That would be AEWESOME, and I saw at the Play Store that I am not the only one who wants it! I would buy the device for Bit Gym alone!

I have an HTC One cell phone running Android 4.4.3. I have no problems at all - just purchased HDMI cable to connect to TV . Sound and picture are awesome! Thank you.

Dell Venue 7 3730 - installed app and chose 60 minute workout. Started going wild on my treadmill with my own music and your video. Great stuff! Then it paused and wouldn't continue so I chose a shorter workout to finish. The 30 minute went the distance. I chose road for the second workout and I'm glad I did. More "continuous" scenery. The constant shifts and transitions are a tad burdensome in my opinion, but overall I really appreciate this app on my Android tablet and will continue to run it through paces.

Just release an Android 4.2 version first, then the older versions later

Another quick update: I assure you we're not ignoring it :) it's just that variable speed hardware-decoded video is very challenging on all versions of android prior to Android 4.2 (which is only available on nexus 4/7/10 devices right now). We're spending most of our time hacking low level android C++ and compiling against private libraries to try to get this working for you all. Stay tuned....

How to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory..... ignoring Android priceless .
Maybe add an Android link to the BitGym download if you have ported the tech .
Guys if you want to win the lottery......at least buy a ticket !

A quick update on where we are here - we've ported over all our technology to android. We've also make it available for other developers to license, so you may seen more cardio aware apps (for both iOS and Android) in the future.
As for Virtual Active videos on android, we've started the early stages of it but we're still quite a ways out. I know there is a lot of demand for this, but all I can say is that expect something towards the end of Summer.

This App deserves to be on Android by now, since Android it is now far more popular than Apples Platforms. And it would look great on the Galaxy S3 and Amazon Kindle HD Fire.
So come on Bitgym, lets get it out there in the real world.

BlackBerry playbook too?

It's unlikely we'll port virtual active or fit freeway to android in the near future, but as we said our tracking technology does work on android, so future apps from us and partners should be cross platform.
